Laken Riley nursing student from Augusta University killed while jogging
The tragic shooting occurred three months following the death of Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student from Augusta University, who was murdered on February 22 while jogging on the trails near the University of Georgia campus.

Earlier this month, a Georgia grand jury indicted Ibarra on ten counts.
These include malice murder, two counts of kidnapping with bodily injury, two counts of aggravated assault with intent to assault, two counts of aggravated battery, obstruction of a person making a 911 call, tampering with evidence, and being a “peeping Tom.”
